At Gilani Mobility Trading Co. LLC, we prioritize transparency and fairness in our business dealings. This Policy outlines the terms and conditions governing refunds, returns, and exchanges for all products and services offered by the Company. It is designed to comply with applicable laws and regulations in the United Arab Emirates, including the Dubai Consumer Protection Law and related legislation.

By engaging in any transaction with us, the customer (“Customer”) agrees to the terms and conditions stated herein.

1. General Principles

1.1 Scope of Policy:

This Policy applies to all purchases, rentals, and related transactions conducted with Gilani Mobility Trading Co. LLC, unless expressly excluded in specific agreements or contracts.

1.2 Commitment to Compliance:

This Policy adheres to the UAE Consumer Protection Law (Federal Law No. 24 of 2006), Dubai Universal Design Code (where applicable), and any other relevant regulations.

1.3 Modification of Policy:

Gilani Mobility Trading Co. LLC reserves the right to amend this Policy at any time, ensuring compliance with applicable laws. Changes will be communicated to Customers through official channels.

2. Refund Eligibility

2.1 Product Purchases:

  • Products are eligible for refunds if:
    • They are returned in new, unused condition within 14 days of purchase.
    • The original packaging, accessories, manuals, and proof of purchase (invoice) are provided.
  • Refunds will not be granted for:
    • Customized or special-order items unless there is a manufacturing defect. 
    • Digital or non-tangible products, such as e-coupons, after delivery unless explicitly stated otherwise.
    • Sanitary products including, but not limited to, commodes, shower chairs, raised toilet seats, and similar items, due to hygiene and safety regulations.

2.2 Rental Agreements (Security Bonds):

  • Security bonds will be refunded in full provided the rented product is returned:
    • In its original condition, free of damages or excessive wear.
    • On or before the agreed rental period’s expiration.
  • Deductions will be applied to cover:
    • Repairs for damages incurred during the rental period.
    • Cleaning fees or costs associated with breach of the rental agreement.
  • The balance of the bond, if any, will be refunded within 30 days.

3. Return and Exchange Policy

3.1 Eligibility for Returns:

  • Products may be returned within 14 days of purchase if:
    • They are in new, unused condition with all original packaging and components.
    • The return request is accompanied by proof of purchase.
  • Products that show signs of wear, damage, or missing components will not be accepted.

3.2 Exchange Terms:

  • Exchanges may be requested within 14 days of purchase and are subject to:
    • The availability of the replacement product.
    • Price adjustments if the exchanged product is of higher or lower value.

3.3 Return and Exchange Costs:

  • Customers are responsible for shipping and handling fees for returned or exchanged items unless:
    • The return is due to a manufacturing defect or error by the Company.

4. Refund Methods

4.1 Cash Refunds:

  • Cash refunds are available for eligible transactions and must be collected in person at the Company’s office upon notification of approval.
  • Customers must present:
    • Valid identification. 
    • The original invoice or rental agreement.

4.2 Bank Transfers: 

  • Refunds via bank transfer will be processed within 30 days of approval. Customers must provide accurate banking details.

4.3 Credit/Debit Card Refunds: 

  • Refunds for card transactions will be credited to the original card used for the purchase. Processing times may vary based on the card issuer’s policies.

4.4 Store Credit:

  • Refunds may also be issued as store credit, which can be used for future purchases. Store credit is valid for 12 months from the date of issuance.

5. Required Documentation

To ensure a smooth refund, return, or exchange process, Customers must provide:

  • A copy of the original invoice, receipt, or rental agreement.
  • Proof of payment (e.g., bank statement, credit card slip).
  • Valid identification for verification (for in-person refunds).
  • Accurate banking details (for bank transfer refunds).

6. Processing Timeline

6.1 Standard Refund Timeline:

  • Refund requests will be processed within 30 days from the date of approval.

6.2 Inspection Period:

  • Returns and rentals will be inspected to ensure compliance with the conditions outlined in this Policy. Additional time may be required for complex cases.

7. Exclusions

Refunds, returns, or exchanges will not be granted under the following circumstances:

  • Requests made outside the stipulated timelines.
  • Products damaged due to improper use, negligence, or failure to follow the instructions provided.
  • Products returned without the original packaging, manuals, or accessories.
  • Digital or intangible products once delivered, unless explicitly covered under this Policy.
  • Sanitary items, including commodes, shower chairs, and similar products, due to hygiene and safety regulations.
  • Failure to provide the required documentation for refund processing.

8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

8.1 Legal Compliance:

  • This Policy is governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates, including the Dubai Consumer Protection Law.

8.2 Dispute Resolution:

  • Any disputes arising from or in connection with this Policy shall be resolved through amicable negotiations. If unresolved, disputes may be referred to the competent courts in Dubai.
